Splashes in Chennai

It was a splash of many colors on a palate - all distinct - all mingling with each other - yet distinct! And now that we are back in our respective places - the colors we have within ourselves seem to have developed a shade of the others' during these 4 and a half months!
It hardly seems the bond we've developed is since the past 4 months only.. seems like a life long thing; at the same time.. the span of these 4 months now seems.. as if its gone with some waves that just kissed ur feet..

Dragged Out Of My Hibernation!

Now, during one of those annoying times between the naps (that’s commonly referred to as Consciousness), I decided to, after all, utilize my office hours and hang out for some time on a few of the blogs – as most of you know – I love to criticize others’ work while not even beginning my own!

As fate would have its way – it landed me to this one blog which had an ADORABLE pic of a chap sitting with some 4 handsome Labradors! -> http://carpediem500.blogspot.com/

How I always wished to have ATLEAST 2 Dalmatians, a golden retriever, an Alsatian (or a German shepherd - any would do) and just one boxer!!!

How I wish and dream… that I wake up from the midst of the sleep to find one of the little pups whining, because of the dark of night, in the initial days, and doze off peacefully in my arms with their little ears flopping on my arms and tiny mouth making wet circle arbitrary shapes on my bed sheet.. or to be woken up by their licks on my hand or feet (I don’t even mind my face being thoroughly licked).. Or When I come out of my bath – find two of them busy in a quarrel over one of my socks and the rest joining them in their own justified participation of the fight (!)... take them a jog at the beach or a park or some marshy place and get dirty over some water sport.. or just lying on a Sunday afternoon watching some movie in my couch with them around – like that guy in that pic! Oh how jealous am I of him!!! :X :(

So gloomy was I missing my future pets that I actually took all the pains to post it here on my long dormant blog – where everyone else other than me have been posting their scribbling!

I hope the winter of my discontent would soon greet me!

P.S.: ok… I confess! I penned it down on the 1^st of August – posting it only today. Now I can’t help but live up to my reputation of being a procrastinator, can I!?!
